This is a help centre for parents and students.
Performing arts students have paid extortionate fees to attend multiple schools' auditions in order to increase their chances of receiving an offer. We reduce the total fees you pay whilst increasing the number of schools you audition to.
No, rather the opposite, having multiple schools present will improve your chance of receiving an offer. Schools will look for a level of quality and potential regardless of the environment.
This depends on the schools you audition for. Some audition you separately and some in a group environment. Some auditions may also have a group workshop stage where you perform with others. All schools will specify what is required of you on the day.
Absolutely not. You are in fact at an advantage if you are seen by multiple schools.
You will only need to fill out your information once when you sign-up to the site, no further application forms are required for the schools who use the Perform This application system.
If you are lucky enough to be offered more than one place you will have to choose which school you wish to attend. Most schools will require a non-refundable registration deposit to secure your place.
No, for multi-school auditions there will be one set fee, saving you considerably on application costs.
You are not limited to the number of auditions you attend. Ensure to apply to the auditions that offer the course type best suited to you. Remember, you are choosing the schools as much as they are choosing you.
Each school will evaluate you separately, based on their own specific requirements. Through your account, you will be contacted by each school with their chosen outcomes. You can liaise directly with each school through your account. If you are lucky enough to receive more than one offer please ensure you only accept the school offer you prefer. You should never accept more than one place. If you do it is likely you will lose your registration fee from the school you later reject.
Each audition you attend may have different requirements. Be sure to carefully read the instructions from each school for what is required on the day
Each school will have there own criteria for offering places. The best advice is to ensure you choose pieces that show off your skill set as best as possible. Choose pieces that are relevant to you, your age, your character. Schools will be looking for the inner truth in your performance, whether that be acting, singing, dancing, etc.
