Qualification Level: Foundation
Our one-year Foundation Course prepares students aged over 18 years for auditions for further vocational training.
Performance technique and ability make up the main component of this course while tailored, actionable feedback is an important part of each individual’s development.
This course is for talented students who are keen to enhance their technical proficiency so they can successfully audition for further studies in musical theatre and dance.
Since its introduction in 2009, our one year Foundation Course has proved to be highly successful as a stepping stone for students into further training at a vocational college or university.
Entry Requirements - By audition and interview. Students will be expected to have already gained at least a 4/C in GCSE English Language and Mathematics prior to starting the course. There is no Level 3 academic requirement. This course is only open to UK students.

Qualification Level: BA (Hons) Degree
Our three-year BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre will give you both outstanding artistic and technical training and academic study, and will also connect you to a career in the performing arts.
The degree is structured in a three-track system to all allow you to focus on your primary interests and strengths. For example; Triple-threat, Actor/Singer Focus or Dance Focus.
Our BA (Hons) programme nurtures fresh talent and allows students to pursue specific interests, without boundaries.

This course is for students 18 years and up and will give you the opportunity to train to the highest standard for a professional career in Dance and Musical Theatre, whilst gaining solid academic skills to enhance your career prospects.
After the first year, you may choose a more focused study track:, triple threat training, singer/acting focus or a more dance-based focus. This allows you to choose a direction of study in the second and third year of the course that is in line with your natural talent and likely destination. These tracks give the opportunity to explore your strengths and passions in greater detail, and opens the degree to students whose strengths lie in or one or more specialist areas.

Our three-year Level 6 Diploma programme prepares students for a career in the performing arts through applied studies.
The programme focuses on developing technique, contextual knowledge and performance training through vocational studies. It is validated by Trinity College London & the CDMT. The structure of our diploma programme offers 3 different tracks (Triple-threat, Actor/Singer Focus, Dance Focus) allowing you to focus on your specialisms.
This course is for students aged 16+ years and is predominantly a vocational course focusing on performance with an applied approach to performing arts training, encompassing all aspects of the performing arts. The contextual elements of the course allow you to develop an understanding in performance history and a thorough evaluation. This gives students an excellent grounding in Singing, Dance and Acting alongside developing charisma, individuality and performance skills.
The diploma track system allows you to choose subjects to fit with your primary interests and strengths in the performing arts. This allows you to explore your interests in greater detail and become more specialised in specific areas of the performing arts.

Qualification Level: Level 3 Cambridge Technical Diploma
As a funded two-year specialist pre-vocational course, the AVT will best prepare you for entry to high level diploma and degree courses in performing arts.
The Access to Vocational Training course (AVT) is a funded two-year dance and musical theatre course for 16 to 18 year olds (Level 3 Cambridge Technical Diploma – 720GLH).
As an affordable, specialist pre-vocational training scheme, the AVT will best prepare you for entry to high level diploma and degree courses in performing arts. Upon successful completion, you will gain an OCR qualification that will earn you up to 112 UCAS points (equivalent to two A-Levels). Students are being taught in classes no bigger than 18.
